Mr Patsy McGlone (Mid Ulster): To ask the Assembly Commission what measures are being taken to address the damp ingress at Parliament Buildings.
Assembly Commission: The Assembly Commission is aware of problems with damp ingress related to
the roof project and all affected areas are being kept under constant review including formal inspections at least twice per month. When necessary, ceiling and wall-mounted electrical services will be temporarily disconnected for health and safety reasons.
In respect of issues related to the roof project, the Assembly Commission has issued proceedings against two parties for negligence, breach of statutory duty and breach of contract.
