Mr Patsy McGlone (Mid Ulster): To ask the Minister for Infrastructure what measures will be taken to repair the condition of the runway at Ardboe Aerodrome to improve access for local residents and businesses.
Minister for Infrastructure: The first 288 metres of the old aerodrome road network, from the Kilmascally Road to the Ardboe Business Park, is adopted by the Department. This section of road has had significant strengthening and resurfacing works carried out by my Department within the last five years. The remainder of the aerodrome road is privately owned and not under the Department’s responsibility.
