Mr Patsy McGlone (Mid Ulster): To ask the Minister for the Economy what steps have been taken by his Department to give effect to the provisions in The Identity and Language (Northern Ireland) Act 2022.
Minister for the Economy: In line with the commitment in NDNA, an official from my Department sits on the Department for Communities’ cross departmental working group set up to develop an Irish Language Strategy and an Ulster-Scots Language, Heritage and Culture Strategy.
