Mr Patsy McGlone (Mid Ulster): To ask the Minister for Communities what steps have been taken by his Department to give effect to the provisions in The Identity and Language (Northern Ireland) Act 2022.
Minister for Communities: The provisions relating to national and cultural identity and language contained within the Identity and Language (Northern Ireland) Act 2022 have yet to be commenced. My department is therefore not in a position to give effect to these provisions.
