Mr Patsy McGlone (Mid Ulster): To ask the Minister of Finance what steps have been taken by her Department to give effect to the provisions in The Identity and Language (Northern Ireland) Act 2022.
Minister of Finance: The duties and powers in the Identity and Language (NI) Act 2022 relevant to the Department of Finance have yet to be commenced by Parliament. My Department will prepare for the commencement of relevant provisions as part of our commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
