Mr Patsy McGlone (Mid Ulster): To ask the Minister for Infrastructure whether the determined level of capital investment of £2.1 billion, required to maintain and enhance the existing water and wastewater treatment infrastructure for the 2021-2027 Price Control period, is expected to be delivered in full by the end of the Price Control period.
Minister for Infrastructure: NI Water has been fully funded to PC21 levels for the first three years of the price control period.
My Department is currently reviewing NI Water’s Operating Plan and Budget for 2024-2025. Budgets for future years have not yet been agreed and therefore I have not yet taken decisions on future allocations.
