Mr Patsy McGlone (Mid Ulster): To ask the Minister for Communities to detail (i) the budgetary allocation for public realm schemes for 2024-25; and (ii) the level of expenditure on public realm schemes in each of the last ten years, broken down by location.
Minister for Communities: The indicative capital budget allocation for urban regeneration in 2024-25 is £17.7m. This does not include any indicative budget allocated for City Deal projects or PEACE IV projects.
The Department’s Retention and Disposal Policy period for financial records is seven years. The figures for investment in urban regeneration public realm projects in the last seven years, broken down by Council area, will be deposited in the Assembly Library.
