Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs: All publicly appointed board members, including those to AFBI, are bound by the terms and conditions of their appointment and once appointed, all AFBI board members must confirm, in writing, their acceptance of the AFBI Board Member Code of Conduct.
As the Member will appreciate, it would not be appropriate for me to comment on individual cases but I can offer assurance that my Department will not hesitate to take action where there is evidence of non-compliance with the relevant Code of Conduct.
