Mr Patsy McGlone (Mid Ulster): To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs, pursuant to AQW 18567/22-27, to detail the number of occasions that the (i) ozone demand was not met; and (ii) ozone was overdosed at the Moyola Water Treatment Works in each of the last three years.
Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs: The information is not held by my department. Although the Drinking Water Inspectorate consider it good practice, there is no regulatory requirement for NI Water to measure ozone demand, and subsequently no requirement to provide data to the Inspectorate.
