Mr Patsy McGlone (Mid Ulster): To ask the Minister of Health for an update on the provision of a new centre for mental health at Antrim Area Hospital.
Minister of Health: The provision of a new Mental Health Centre at the Antrim Area Hospital Site is currently at the conclusion of RIBA Design Stage 3, awaiting a positive AEDET review, prior to final sign off by the Northern Health & Social Care Trust and Health Estates.
The Department of Health is currently in receipt of an OBC addendum which, when approved, will facilitate progression to RIBA Stage 4 and subsequent tender.
