Mr Patsy McGlone (Mid Ulster): To ask the Minister of Education to detail if the conditions of employment for literacy teachers within the Local Impact Teams remain unchanged.
Minister of Education: The Education Authority has advised that:
There will be no changes to Literacy Teachers’ terms and conditions of employment with the establishment of the Local IMPACT Teams. This phase of the Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) Transformation Programme is a reconfiguration of SEND Support Services and all staff will transfer on existing terms and conditions of employment.
