Mr Patsy McGlone (Mid Ulster): To ask the Minister of Education to detail what direct input educational psychologists have into the decision-making process of moderation panels.
Minister of Education: The Education Authority (EA) has advised that:
Educational Psychologists (EP) currently have no direct input to the moderation process. The Educational Psychology Service is working closely with senior management within the Local IMPACT Team (LIT) structures to align EP operations more closely to those of the LITs with a view to further integrating those operations over time. This may ultimately involve EP representation at moderation panels.
