Mr Patsy McGlone (Mid Ulster): To ask the Minister of Education to detail how many children with a statement of Special Educational Needs did not have a school place by 1st September 2025.
Minister of Education: The Education Authority (EA) advised my Department on 1st September that fewer than 5 pupils were waiting on final confirmation of a school placement.
**(EA do not report on individual pupil figures less than 5 as children and their families may be easily identified)
As of the 5 September 2025, no children with a statement of SEN remained unplaced.
