AQW 30015/22-27 – Ongoing investigations into malpractice at NI Water

Mr Patsy McGlone (Mid Ulster): To ask the Minister for Infrastructure to detail the number of live investigations that are underway into malpractice at NI Water, including (i) which organisations are conducting those investigations; (ii) the dates upon which those investigations commenced; and (iii) the dates on which her Department was notified of those investigations.

Minister for Infrastructure: This is an operational matter for NI Water; however, my officials have sought the relevant information.

NI Water has advised that there are currently 3 ongoing live investigations that relate to allegations of suspected fraud or alleged bribery or corruption*, as follows:
