AQW 3813/17-22 – Civil Service Staff Coronavirus Outbreak

Mr Patsy McGlone (Mid Ulster): To ask the Minister of Finance, in light of the coronavirus outbreak and in the interests of staff welfare, what health and disability audit has been undertaken of staff in the Civil Service in order that people with particular health vulnerabilities may work from home. [Priority Written]

Minister of Finance:  Guidance covering COVID-19 (coronavirus), including Frequently Asked Questions, has been issued to all staff and managers. This is being updated on a regular basis.

This guidance strongly advises staff classified as vulnerable people by the Public Health Authority (PHA) website to follow the social distancing measures which include working from home, where possible. For staff in this category who are unable to work from home, paid leave arrangements apply.
