Mr Patsy McGlone (Mid Ulster): To ask the Minister of Education to detail (i) the total number of incidents of COVID-19 there have been in schools; and (ii) how many schools have had more than one case.
Minister of Education: The Public Health Agency (PHA) has been collecting data on the number of COVID school incidents reported to the PHA COVID School Team since schools reopened. By the 13 October 2020 they had received 1,491 reported cases by schools (both pupils and staff) with 247 schools reporting more than one case.
