Mr Patsy McGlone (Mid Ulster): To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs what initiatives his Department is undertaking to promote better mental health and wellbeing amongst farmers.
Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs: The Tackling Rural Poverty and Social Isolation (TRPSI) Framework supports the development and delivery of initiatives to address the three priority areas of financial poverty, access poverty and social isolation. Through this Framework, my Department supports a range of initiatives to promote better mental health and wellbeing amongst farmers and rural dwellers and further details are set out in Annex A.
