Mr Patsy McGlone (Mid Ulster): To ask the Minister of Education for his assessment of the need for COVID-19 testing facilities in schools.
Minister of Education: In consultation with the Department of Health and Public Health Agency, I can confirm there are currently no plans to introduce COVID-19 testing facilities in schools.
Testing should continue to be accessed through the established testing program in the community and follow the advice of the Public Health Agency when a positive case is notified.
