Mr Patsy McGlone (Mid Ulster): To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs, pursuant to AQW 7116/17-22, what additional legal advice he has received should he fail to make the preparations for the new permanent border control posts at ports of entry required by the Withdrawal Agreement.
Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs: My Department has now received legal advice regarding the building of permanent infrastructure at Northern Ireland (NI) Points of Entry (PoE). I have indicated that I will be bring the matter of preparations at NI PoE to the Executive for consideration as soon as possible.
