Mr Patsy McGlone (Mid Ulster): To ask the Minister of Health how many private businesses or external agencies have been involved in the development of the Covid-19 Vaccine App/Certification; and to detail the expenditure with these businesses and agencies.
Minister of Health: The Digital Health & Care NI (DHCNI) partnership, comprising staff from the Department of Health the Health and Social Care Board’s eHealth and Care Directorate and the Public Health Agency’s Centre for Connected Health and Social Care, who oversaw the development of the CovidCert NI solution has given a commitment to publish the background and associated details of Digital products on the Departmental Website at https://www.health-ni.gov.uk/digital-response-covid-19 .
I anticipate that the details will published within 3 working months now that the App and process are working satisfactorily.
