Mr Patsy McGlone (Mid Ulster): To ask the Minister for Infrastructure how many accidents have occurred at the roundabout on the A6 at Castledawson, in the last two years.
Minister for Infrastructure: The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) is the authority responsible for gathering information associated with road traffic collisions. They periodically share relevant data with my Department for all collisions where injuries have been sustained. This information is used by my officials to help identify viable engineering measures that will reduce the likelihood and severity of collisions in the future.
I would therefore recommend that you contact the PSNI who may be able to provide you with information about collisions on this part of the road network.
