Mr Patsy McGlone (Mid Ulster): To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs whether his Department has been consulted on the Terms of Reference for the inquiry into the circumstances which led to the findings of the Industrial Tribunal between his Department and Dr Tamara Bronckaers.
Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs: The Head of the Civil Service together with the Permanent Secretaries of both DAERA and DOF are commissioning an External Independent Review of how the departments dealt with the concerns raised in this case and of the decision-making throughout this process.
As the DoF Permanent Secretary, HOCS and the DAERA Permanent Secretary are commissioning the Review they jointly determined the Terms of Reference for this review. It is intended that those terms of reference will be published before the end of May, with the first phase of the review scheduled to be completed by the end of June 2022.
