Mr Patsy McGlone (Mid Ulster): To ask the Assembly Commission to detail the amount paid to date for the hire of scaffolding on Parliament Buildings.
Assembly Commission: Scaffolding was erected at the rear of Parliament Buildings and in Courtyards 1, 2 and 3 to prepare for the upcoming remedial works and to address health and safety concerns within the areas that require access. The total paid for scaffolding hire for the Rear Parapet and Courtyards 1, 2 and 3 up to 31 December 2025 is £235,513. The remedial works for these areas have now completed a tender process and will be awarded in February 2026.
