Mr Patsy McGlone (Mid Ulster): To ask the Minister for Infrastructure, in relation to NI Water contracts C1247 Lot one and Lot two, to detail the number of (i) C1; (ii) C2; and (iii) C3 remedial electrical repairs that remain incomplete beyond the contractual 10 working day completion period from the date of NI Water work allocation instruction or Purchase Order, broken down by (a) contract Lot; and (b) defect classification.
Minister for Infrastructure: The issue you have raised is an operational matter for NI Water; however, I have sought the required information and NI Water has advised of the position below:
AQW 46138:
As of the 14th May 2026 the C1247 contract under Lot 1 has 208 overdue sites and under Lot 2 has 33 overdue sites, NI Water has advised that all overdue sites will be inspected and tested by the autumn of 2026.
AQW 46141:
Under C1247 there are currently no outstanding C1 defects, as any C1 issues identified during inspection are made safe at the time of inspection in accordance with the contract.
