Minister of Justice: No decision has been made on the future of Magherafelt Courthouse.
As part of the ongoing implementation of the NICTS Estate Strategy, the Northern Ireland Courts and Tribunals Service (NICTS) will undertake a series of Strategic Asset Reviews in relation to its courthouses over the course of the Estate Strategy Period (2023-2030).
The Strategic Asset Review of Magherafelt Courthouse is underway. The findings of this review will inform a decision in due course, which will be subject to public consultation if appropriate.
