AQW 47632/22-27 – Rural crime resources

Mr Patsy McGlone (Mid Ulster): To ask the Minister of Justice to detail any assessment that has been made of the adequacy of the resources available to the PSNI to tackle rural crime.

Minister of Justice: My Department has not carried out a specific assessment of PSNI resources available to tackle rural crime.
The deployment of resources, including the detection and investigation of rural and agricultural crime, is a matter for the Chief Constable of the PSNI, who is accountable to the Northern Ireland Policing Board. You may wish to direct this question to the PSNI.
