Mr Patsy McGlone (Mid Ulster): To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs to detail any recent discussions he has had with the British Government on UK-EU Sanitary and Phytosanitary negotiations.
Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs: I meet regularly with UK Government Ministers to discuss progress in securing a comprehensive UK-EU Sanitary Phytosanitary (SPS) agreement and to articulate the interests of Northern Ireland, particularly in relation to agri-food, as negotiations between the UK and the EU continue. I will continue this dialogue with a revised date for EU/UK Summit awaited.
