Mr Patsy McGlone (Mid Ulster): To ask the Minister for Communities to detail any steps his Department, or its arms-length bodies, are taking to support single-screen and community-run cinemas to remain financially sustainable, modernise their facilities and deliver accessible film experiences to local audiences.
Minister for Communities: The Arts Council does not fund film and cinema. It does fund the Strand Arts Centre, a heritage cinema, based on its wider role as a recognisable arts centre.
