Mr Patsy McGlone (Mid Ulster): To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs to detail when the eligible Lough Neagh eel fishers will receive an initial payment from the Lough Neagh Eel Fishery Transition Scheme.
Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs: Letters inviting eligible fishers to apply for financial support were issued on 29 September 2026. Payments can be expected within 20 working days of the Department receiving a signed and dated acceptance of the offer of support.
