Mr Patsy McGlone (Mid Ulster): To ask the Minister of Finance for an update on the development of a Civil Service Regional Hub in Cookstown.
Minister of Finance: Department of Finance officials are determining the optimal location of the Connect2 regional hub in Mid Ulster. This will be based on NICS staff commuter data analysis provided by Ordnance Survey NI, geographical location, and the central government’s existing office portfolio. While there has been discussions with Mid Ulster District Council, the final location for this Connect2 hub has yet to be determined.
