AQW 2137/22-27 – Lead in drinking water

Mr Patsy McGlone (Mid Ulster): To ask the Minister for Infrastructure following a study conducted by Queens University that found elevated levels of lead in drinking water, does he intend to conduct water safety tests in homes across Northern Ireland to ascertain whether drinking water is safe for human consumption.

Minister for Infrastructure: Conducting water safety tests in homes across the North is an operational matter for NI Water.

You should therefore, direct your question to NI Water at waterline@niwater.com .
