Mr Patsy McGlone (Mid Ulster): To ask the Minister for Communities what steps she is taking to resolve the pay dispute between the Northern Ireland Housing Executive and the Northern Ireland Public Service Alliance and Unite.
Minister for Communities: I have no input into the negotiations or agreement of the pay awards for Housing Executive Workers.
I will be required to approve the pay remits in line with DoF guidance when they have been submitted by the Housing Executive on the basis of an agreed settlement.
I would urge those involved in negotiations to work urgently to find an agreed resolution.
