Mr Patsy McGlone (Mid Ulster): To ask the Minister for the Economy to detail any support Invest NI has provided to companies involved in the supply chain of F-35 components and equipment.
Minister for the Economy: Invest NI does not fund projects that support the manufacturing costs of arms or their components. Companies operating in the advanced manufacturing sector receive funding for projects delivered under a range of Invest NI programmes. These include Grant for R&D, Skills Growth Programme, Selective Financial Assistance, Skills development, Energy Efficiency Capital Grant, Process Excellence and Trade Export support.
