Mr Patsy McGlone (Mid Ulster): To ask the Minister for Infrastructure, pursuant to AQW 31950/22-27, to detail (i) when the Speak Up (Whistleblowing) policy text was formally adopted, in its present format, by NI Water; and (ii) the consultation that took place on that document with (a) Executive Departments; (b) trade unions; and (c) other stakeholder organisations.
Minister for Infrastructure: The issue you have raised is an operational matter for NI Water; however, I have sought the required information and can advise as follows:
(i) The current whistleblowing policy was approved by NI Water’s Audit Committee at its meeting on 19 September 2025;
(ii) No consultation took place with (a) (b) or (c).
