Mr Patsy McGlone (Mid Ulster): To ask the Minister for Infrastructure, regarding the February 2025 Deloitte report on its investigation of alleged contract fraud within NI Water, to detail who was responsible for monitoring the awarding of contracts for remedial repairs at NI Water sites between October 2022 and July 2024.
Minister for Infrastructure: The issue you have raised is an operational matter for NI Water; however, I have sought the required information.
NI Water has advised my Department that the awarding of contracts for remedial repairs at NI Water sites between October 2022 and July 2024 was overseen and monitored by their Mechanical & Electrical Management and the Commercial team.
