Mr Patsy McGlone (Mid Ulster): To ask the Minister of Education whether any consideration has been given to financing the provision of EpiPens for children in schools.
Minister of Education: While Budgets for 2026-27 and subsequent periods have not yet been agreed by the Executive, current indications are that my department will face a significant resource funding gap. Unfortunately therefore I am not in a position to commit any new or additional funding at this time.
Should an agreed budget be forthcoming, the provision of funding will be considered in the context of the wider financial pressures facing my department.
