Mr Patsy McGlone (Mid Ulster): To ask the Minister of Justice to detail any training that has been provided to staff in her Department on the use of Artificial Intelligence, including its limitations and risks, since February 2024.
Minister of Justice: In addition to NICS/DoJ policy and guidance on using AI, staff in my Department have had access to the following training:
Data Handling (including using AI responsibly) – January 2026 (mandatory)
AI and Cyber Security – May 2025
There are also AI training topics available to staff via the Microsoft365 Viva Learning platform.
