Mr Patsy McGlone (Mid Ulster): To ask the Minister for the Economy when Self Assessed HMRC tax returns will be accepted as proof of income in applications to COVID-19 Restrictions Business Support Schemes. [Priority Written]
Minister for the Economy: Official HMRC correspondence has always been accepted as suitable evidence in support of CRBSS applications, such as submitted tax returns or agreed tax calculations (SA302). The evidence must clearly show the applicant’s unique identifiers (name, address, unique tax reference etc) within the documents supplied. This applies equally across all of the emergency COVID support schemes administered by Invest NI.
