Mr Patsy McGlone (Mid Ulster): To ask the Minister for Infrastructure, pursuant to AQW 36710/22-27, (i) whether legal advice on the payment £108,786.78 by NI Water of contractor liabilities under TUPE, was sought by the Board of NI Water; and (ii) whether the decision to approve the £108,786.78 by the Board of NI Water, was made unanimously.
Minister for Infrastructure: The issue you have raised is an operational matter for NI Water; however, I have sought the required information.
NI Water has advised my department that (i) yes, legal advice was sought; and (ii) the Board was advised and approved this payment. The decision was unanimous and approved by all members in attendance.
