Mr Patsy McGlone (Mid Ulster): To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs, pursuant to AQW 42478/22-27, to detail when the proposed odour management plan will be put in place at the PAR Biogas Site in Tullywiggan, Cookstown.
Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs: The Northern Ireland Environment Agency is engaging with the operator and their appointed consultant on an Odour Management Plan for the PAR Biogas site at Tullywiggan, Cookstown, which will be assessed by the Agency once received. It is anticipated this work will be compete by end of May 2026.
NIEA will continue to regulate the site in accordance with its statutory responsibilities while this work remains ongoing.
