Mr Patsy McGlone (Mid Ulster): To ask the Minister for Infrastructure whether any assessment has been made of the benefits of expanding the Maghera Park and Ride facility.
Minister for Infrastructure: I am aware that the existing Park and Ride at Maghera is well used. The site has been expanded on a number of occasions and preliminary plans have been identified for providing a similar facility on the north side of the A6 with an associated slip road. The Park and Ride facility at Castledawson Roundabout can continue to accommodate additional users while longer-term plans are progressed.
