Mr Patsy McGlone (Mid Ulster): To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs whether any assessment has been made of the adequacy of the resources available to address rural crime.
Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs: Responsibility for the allocation of operational resources and detection and investigation of rural crime is an operational matter for the Chief Constable of the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI), who is accountable to the Northern Ireland Policing Board.
