Mr Patsy McGlone (Mid Ulster): To ask the Minister for Communities whether any assessment has been made of the effectiveness of job centre staff in helping those not in education, employment or training get into work or training.
Minister for Communities: Staff in Jobs and Benefits Offices provide a wide range of tailored support to all individuals engaging with employment services. My department is currently conducting a study to provide insight on the characteristics, needs and challenges facing young people who are not in education, employment or training. This research will help inform ongoing engagement with these young people.
